What IS That Plant?
Native Plant Photos
Most of the native plant photos were taken on my own property bordering the Santa
Margarita River area near the 500 foot trail. Before the October 2007 fire the property
was covered with
nearly impenetrable chaparral: mission manzanita, chamise, Ramona lilac and sage.
Spring 2008 brought out an amazing variety of wildflowers and the chaparral
plants were growing out of the burn.
